Embedded system is defined as an electronic computing system dedicated for a specific function its main usage has no limit it is used inside our air conditioning to let us control motors and its cold air generator using a simple remote device the remote device itself is an embedded device Another example of embedded system is the car.The car itself contain tons of embedded application starts from a simple door light controller to engine controller. Embedded system application ranges from some simple devices such as mp3 player,camera controller and digital watches to large control systems like a traffic light controller and factory production line controller. But how to start our career as embedded systems engineer First we need to discuss what is the meaning of computing system that Is mentioned in the definition of embedded system. The word computing means that these systems are used to be programmed to do its functions which needs to have a processor embedded inside it ,These processors are not come alone in a package (which is hard to program a processor alone by the way) but otherwise the processor it self comes prepackaged in a form of what is called a microcontroller to make a functionable device these microcontrollers which we will call a MCU (microcontroller unit),Theses MCU are used as base block to build a larger system first we start by writing our program in a hybrid level programming language called C language because it has tons of technics to access low level hardware inside the controller.
